Job Description
SPE INTERN:
Our Emerging Talent Programs, which includes Interns, Trainees, and Finance Rotational Associates, offer unique opportunities for students, recent graduates, and emerging talent to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies, TV shows, and other great experiences. These seasonal, paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that allows you to build on your experience and develop your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks, real-world experience, and many educational and social networking opportunities.

This Summer Internship is from May/June through August 30th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday in the specified location. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university. A hybrid work structure may or may not be available.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

Marketing Operations plays a pivotal role in showcasing our diverse range of marketing materials, from trailers and TV/digital spots to movie posters and outdoor billboards, to audiences worldwide. Our goal is to expertly master, localize, and distribute a multitude of marketing assets, ensuring the successful promotion of our films globally. We pride ourselves on our agility and efficiency, managing high volumes of content under tight deadlines across various markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate with the department head to analyze and enhance operational workflows. This includes gathering and scrutinizing operational data, comparing against industry benchmarks, and reviewing best practices to propose and implement performance improvements.
• Assist the Marketing Operations management team in administering, evaluating, and reporting on the Marketing Operations performance survey. This role involves compiling survey results, preparing reports for executive management, and presenting findings to senior team members. Additionally, the intern will contribute to refining the survey tool and its questions, drawing insights from the initial deployment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a marketing or media operations role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Self-motivated with the ability to independently manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional organizational, project management, and attention to detail skills.
• Energetic, quick learner, capable of handling multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Team player committed to fostering a supportive work environment.
• Keen interest in advanced post-production workflows.
• Proactive, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably in business, operational management, data analytics, or marketing.
• Current pursuit of an MBA with a focus on marketing, data analytics, operational management, or strategy.
• Over 3 years of experience in management consulting, marketing, media operations, or post-production.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, etc.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $19-37/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
