This 12 month program is a fantastic opportunity for anyone in the very early stages of their career to join one of the leading companies in Film and TV. Although each role is different and part of a different department, all our internships will give you an in-depth understanding of the industry and department and will play a major part in helping to carve out your future career.

Department Description:

The Facilities and Real Estate department in London cover various functions across EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Asia Pacific.
Our Facilities team look after our offices in the UK, including the maintenance of our main office in London, located in the Brunel Building, and other offices across London and Wales. Whilst our Real Estate department looks after the property portfolio across the two regions, EMEA and Asia Pacific. This includes lease management and negotiations with landlords and also projects for new offices, office expansions, and refurbishments needed in the offices.

The department also looks after some activities of the social calendar for the London office, such as the Holiday Party, monthly employee bars, staff screenings, and many more events that take place during the year. They also look after the digital signage in the building and publish an internal monthly page on the company intranet to keep the staff informed of events and other internal news.

The team interacts with all the Corporate functions as well as the businesses and work very closely with LA and with our colleagues in EMEA and Asia Pac.

What you will do:

In this placement you will support the team that manages the real estate portfolio across EMEA and Asia Pac. This will include;
• Updating of the Strategic Property Review, a comprehensive document that includes all the properties in the portfolio (currently around 83 properties across both regions).
• Supporting the team in preparing documents for translations.
• Updating monthly transactions reports
• Creating purchase orders
• Compiling records of consultants and contractors
• Updating information for the Archibus manager
• Collaborating on up-to-date information with the Risk Management team
• Creating ISSAs (Internal Services and Space Agreements) with sister companies.
• Collaborating not only with the team in UK but also with the teams in LA and regional management.

What you will learn:
Over the course of the 12 months you will acquire knowledge and experience in real estate management and will be exposed to real projects on a day-to-day basis.

You will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues, management, and consultants across the world, gaining confidence, and subject knowledge on how real estate is conducted in different countries as well as experience on commercial issues such as issuing and checking purchase orders, and invoices, amongst others.

You will also have the opportunity to learn various software packages used by the team such as Veoci, Costar, Archibus, Autocad, and Smartsheets, plus the chance to enhance your abilities across the Microsoft suite.

What you need:
• Ideally, you will have studied in Real Estate, or Business Management and will have experience in working with people in different positions in an organization.
• Other languages, in addition to English, will be an advantage, but not a necessity.
• Knowledge of the following software packages will also be a plus, although not essential: Veoci, Costar, Archibus, Autocad and Smartsheets.
• Above all, we are looking for an individual that is eager to learn and happy to join a diverse, fun and hardworking team.
