Our Emerging Talent Programs, which includes Interns, Trainees, and Finance Rotational Associates, offer unique opportunities for students, recent graduates, and emerging talent to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies, TV shows, and other great experiences. This Fall Internship is from September through December 13th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work part-time hours (10-29 a week). Our offices are open Monday through Friday, 9-6 pm. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university. A hybrid work structure may or may not be available.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
The WW Marketing and Distribution Team is responsible for global Theatrical Marketing & Distribution Finance, as well as HE and TV Marketing Finance as well as financial planning and analysis for Consumer Products, Location-Based Entertainment and Virtual Reality.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist with Financial Planning & Analysis activities for all groups under WW Finance Marketing and Distribution group.
• Work with the Director on the actualization of ultimates
• Assist the different groups with various Finance adhoc tasks
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Undergrad student
• Excel skills
• The Intern will gain experience/exposure to the following:
• An understanding of the broader landscape of the film business and how analytics help guide important decision making from greenlight to release.
• Learn the FP&A process (Budgets, and quarterly forecasts)
• Learn how financial systems are used in real business operations.
The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
