Our Emerging Talent Programs, which includes Interns, Trainees, and Finance Rotational Associates, offer unique opportunities for students, recent graduates, and emerging talent to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies, TV shows, and other great experiences. These seasonal, paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that allows you to build on your experience and develop your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks, real-world experience, and many educational and social networking opportunities.
This Fall Internship is from September through December 13th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work part-time hours (10-29 a week). Our offices are open Monday through Friday, 9-6 pm. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university. A hybrid work structure may or may not be available.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
The Creative Group supports the filmmakers as they develop their ideas into feature films, series, shorts. They foster a creative, supportive, and structured environment to help filmmakers develop their visions into innovative, classic and entertaining stories. This is achieved in a variety of ways, including conducting research, building teams, and providing feedback.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Take notes in meetings, format/clean up and distribute to the team
• Update databases and lists
• Script and book coverage
• Support the Creative Group administrative team with scheduling and answering phone calls
• Research and collate data and information on industry trends
• Build and update decks for projects
• Assist with in-office needs, such as setting up conference rooms for external guests, ordering lunch for meetings, restocking and organizing supplies, etc. [INTERN IS REQUIRED TO BE ABLE TO COME IN-PERSON TUESDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS]
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Pursuing a degree in a relevant field
• Professional and friendly email and phone communication skills
• Strong writing skills; ability to succinctly and sharply summarize content and provide insights
• Strong passion for animation and the Film/TV industry
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Previous experience in script coverage, office operations, or production
• Self starter attitude; willingness to step up and help wherever is needed
• Critical thinker and creative problem solver
• Interest in creative development and family entertainment
• Has opinions and insights on the content we review and an ability to defend their opinion
• Sense of humor :) We are a fun team!
The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
