Interns may be responsible for any relocation and/or housing expenses.

The Social Media Intern is responsible for producing and posting multimedia content to support the organization's online objectives.

Program Period: June - August 2024

Key Responsibilities:
• Create and share unique and compelling written, audio, and video content across Sacramento Kings, Stockton Kings, Kings Guard Gaming, and Golden 1 Center online channels.
• Create Web art and imagery.
• Cover practices, games, and events.
• Assist in facilitating social stats, communication, and moderation.
• Assist in developing social strategy.
• Regularly work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of social media and multimedia production.
• Proficient in writing stories, conducting interviews, and posting content online.
• Adept in Photoshop and designing Web art.
• Experience creating, editing, and posting videos online.
• Active user of current social media platforms and emerging digital trends.
• Team and detail oriented.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Highly organized and strong time-management skills.
• Motivated to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-oriented workplace.
• Knowledgeable about the Sacramento Kings, NBA, esports, entertainment, and pop culture.

To qualify for Kings University internships, you must be:
• Currently enrolled in college or have graduated within 12 months
• Able to commute to the downtown Sacramento office
• Able to work 25 - 40 hours per week during the summer session

Interns will be compensated $16.00 per hour and receive benefits such as California Paid Sick Leave, discounts on Sacramento Kings merchandise, and free parking.
