Interns may be responsible for any relocation and/or housing expenses.

As a Partnership Marketing Activation Intern, you'll play a vital role in our Corporate Partnerships department, gaining invaluable experience while contributing to the success of our corporate partnerships. You'll be involved in a wide range of activities, from partner activation and hospitality to supporting day-to-day business operations.

Program Period: June - August 2024

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform daily support tasks of the Corporate Partnerships department
• Support Partnership events in-arena and in the community, including but not limited to, photography, client greeting, and inventory support
• Assist Account Managers with planning, preparing, and setting up on-site activations
• Aid in the brainstorming of strategies including unique activations, community tie-ins, etc.
• Utilize metric databases and assist in the creation of PowerPoint deck presentations and recaps
• Collaborate with Account Managers on onboarding new partners, developing and refining processing, and preparing for the season
• Manage partnership assets, photo databases, and tracking documents
• Support Partnership Marketing team with client requests
• Organizing partnership promotion prize, sweepstakes, and gifting fulfillment
• Join bi-weekly meetings and support cross-departmental work
• Various other projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• An interest in gaining experience in sponsorship, partnership activation, or experiential marketing
• Strong organizational skills and resourcefulness
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and anticipate projects
• Must have in-depth working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Must have strong interpersonal communication skills
• Service-oriented; committed to teamwork and catering to the customer
• Capable of working extended hours such as nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary

To qualify for Kings University internships, you must be:
• Currently enrolled in college or have graduated within 12 months
• Able to commute to the downtown Sacramento office
• Able to work 25 - 40 hours per week during the summer session

Interns will be compensated $16.00 per hour and receive benefits such as California Paid Sick Leave, discounts on Sacramento Kings merchandise, and free parking.
