Creative Arts Sound - Dialogue Intern

Los Angeles, CA

For our PlayStation Studios Sound Dialogue team, we are part of the core development for game audio and deliver award-winning work for multiple titles that we have partnered with various development studios that are part of PlayStation. We are a global team that assists dev teams with creative and technical workflows, pipelines and assets in all phases of pre-production, production and post-production. This internship will provide persons the ability to learn the larger picture of game audio development for AAA titles.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Dialogue team to support various needs with each title such as editorial, mastering, QCing of dialogue assets, pcap and voice over session preparation and asset management of dialogue material
• Build strong teamwork skills and positive relationships with our internal team, partners and external development partners; expanding and strengthening communication skills and client relations
• Learn and practice the creative and technical workflows of game audio development. Working on various tools and middleware software

Qualifications
• Rising senior, projected to graduate in 2024
• Currently enrolled in an accredited university, pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Recording Arts, Game Audio, Sound Design, or Live Broadcast, Theater
• Knowledge of audio production and tools utilized for recording, editorial, mastering and mixing
• Self-starter with strong communication skills both verbal and written and client-facing experience
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines while maintaining professional respect and courtesy to team members and clients
• Drive and desire to learn the basics of game audio to the intricacies of complex systems with the openness to be challenged
