We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Social Media Intern-Footprint Center with the Digital Services Department. This position will support our Footprint Center social team. This internship will predominately be focused on covering Footprint Center events, developing creative ideas for our social pages and growing engagement.

What Will You Do:
• Develop new content strategies for showcasing all the types of events that happen at Footprint Center, specifically focused on IG and TikTok
• Support daily content publishing across Footprint channels
• Engage in community management and customer response across social channels with fans.
• Leverage trending topics and conversations in real-time to capitalize on content opportunities to amplify the voice of Footprint Center
• Support the development of a Footprint influencer program
• Perform social media tasks on event days by shooting photography, filming fan TikTok's and posting across social media channels in real time.
• Quickly recognize and react to trends to grow the Footprint Center TikTok account
• Collaborate with Footprint Center marketing team on fully integrated marketing plans for event promotion

• A passion for entertainment, music, and events
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Possesses a high level of confidentiality to handle sensitive information
• Ability to be professional with high-profile talent
• A passion for social media strategy and community building online.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including long hours, evening, weekends, holidays

Experience/ Education Requirements:
• Previous internship or college experience in managing social pages in entertainment space (preferred)
• Experience supporting social strategies across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, and other emerging platforms
• Proficient knowledge in social media platforms
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite/Photoshop (preferred)
• Experienced content creator, shooter, and editor to execute content in real time across multiple platforms (preferred)

• This position works mainly indoors, removed from extreme weather; exposure to weather is <5%
• S-Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally
• Position is predominately computer-based, requiring the use of a computer monitor
• Must be able to carry on a conversation both on the phone and in-person
• Ability to Read, Write & Speak in English
