Responsibilities
Opportunities may include (but are not limited to): 

Golf Channel Production:

NBC Sports Group is seeking a student intern to join its team in the GOLF department located in Stamford, Connecticut. As a team player, you will join an immensely collaborative environment with the opportunity to work on high quality sports television projects. The ideal candidate thrives on developing new skills and has an interest or experience in working in Golf sports television production. Responsibilities include the following:
• Assist with studio production needs and requests
• Help with some aspects of editing for sports television and/or video segments
• Support the maintenance and organization of sports television and/or video graphics
• Assist in daily highlight operations (screening, logging, writing and edit guidance)
• Assists in graphic coordination and features production
• Helps with sports research
• Supports all phases of production

Technical Logistics/Facilities:

Interacting with internal customers at our facilities support window and facilitating their support needs with a high level of service and support. This includes production support requests, shipping, shipment tracking, supply distribution, asset management support and other facility support needs. Additional responsibilities include the following:
• Logistics and facility material handling, picking, packing and shipping, moving equipment pallets, boxes
• Support with asset tracking and control, assist with inventory by working on PC and scanning technical equipment
• Assist with pulling and staging technical and non-technical equipment and production support requests and supply orders
• Assist with shipping and receiving mail, packages and freight. These activities may include loading/unloading trucks, material handling, and prepping/wrapping/strapping equipment for shipping.
• Assist with receiving supplies and tracking purchase orders
• Additional responsibilities include breaking down boxes, trash removal, and assist with general housekeeping

Post Production & Digital Workflow Engineering:

The Post Production and Digital Workflow team provides the systems and support for multiple areas of NBC Sports Group Production and Operations for both in-house and on-the-road events, including NFL, Notre Dame Football, NASCAR and the Olympic Games. Our systems perform multiple functions, including: live recording of competition feeds, video editing for live coverage and feature production, transfer of footage and finished shows to and from production trucks at competition venues, and storage and retrieval of footage in the NBC Sports archives. Responsibilities include the following:
• Monitor the status of archive and storage operations, including large volume data migrations
• Design reports and status pages to communicate system and job status and trends
• Produce dashboard views to monitor production workflows across multiple sites and systems
• Design at-a-glance views for production staff to quickly track media deliveries to/from production trucks

Qualifications/Requirements
In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress 

Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)  

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above  

Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal 

Must be able to work on-site in Stamford, CT
