Job Description
The Human Resources Intern will be responsible for all administrative issues of the department as well as assisting with employee needs, requirements, and events.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Handles the administration and management of the employee records
• Attends and participates in Job Fairs and other College related activities and act as a brand ambassador for the Miami Marlins
• Responsible for updating all company bulletin boards, to include information on MVP of the GAME, Employment Posting and all other employee notifications.
• Assists with recognition programs, engagement activities and projects
• Assists with all employee related functions / events
• Collaborates with the development of content for marketing purposes and employee branding

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
• Proactive, organized and detail-oriented person who can prioritize their workload and follow through with minimal supervision.
• Outgoing personality with track record of effective interpersonal and communications skills (written and verbal) that creates trusting relationships.
• An understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures and an ability to work effectively and relate well with individuals of diverse backgrounds and all levels within the company.
• Self-motivated individual with high degree of responsibility including confidentiality, sense of urgency, and accountability.
• Professional ethics.
• Must be a team player, who cares about the department's work and reputation.
• Proficient in the use of computers and related software – Word, Excel & Power Point.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.

ELIGIBILITY:
• Enrolled full time in an accredited university or college
• Can meet the program time commitments: January 16th through October 31st
• During the Spring/Fall Semesters: work not to exceed 30 hours per week
• During Summer Break: 40 hours per week
• Attend a Monthly Lunch & Learn with department leaders
• Participate in a Volunteer Day with the Miami Marlins Foundation
