The Los Angeles Dodgers Production team works within the Marketing & Broadcasting Department and handles the in-house production needs of the organization. Those needs include in-game entertainment, television commercials in English and Spanish, community event coverage, internal projects, and assisting with marketing and social media assets.
Position Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong interests/knowledge of pre and post-production work flow (video editing, motion graphics, graphic design, camera work).
• Familiarity with the Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects) is essential.
• Previous experience working with various cameras such as Fs7, Fs5, A7siii and other Mirrorless DSLRs is preferred.
• Comfortability working with green screen productions is encouraged.
• Willing to provide help with scripting of in-game elements.
• Previous experience and/or knowledge of sports and baseball is preferred, including gameday and office responsibilities.
• Ability to work in a group setting and collaborate with multiple people.
• Experience working as a Production Assistant is helpful.
• Looking for a go-getter who can handle taking direction and following instructions.
Basic Requirements/Qualifications:
• Must be a rising sophomore, junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree OR are currently enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution.
• Must be detailed-oriented with the ability to handle multiple assignments and projects under pressure.
• Must have strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be available to live and work in Los Angeles or your assigned office location throughout the duration of your 3-month program during the summer months.
• A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
• Passionate about working for a professional sports team.
• Proactive and out of the box thinking.
