Pay Rate: $17.00/hour + housing stipend

The amateur scouting staff is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and signing amateur talent. Assist scouting staff with the organization and execution of the scouting process through robust data collection. Provide holistic player assessments. Identifying and evaluating amateur talent, data collection and analysis, and liaising between the scouting department and the front office.

Position Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel is required.
• General baseball knowledge.
• Ability to carry 50lbs and drive a car for potential off-site moving.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in fast paced environment.
• Must have a can-do attitude and be team oriented.

Basic Requirements/Qualifications:
• Must be a rising sophomore, junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree OR are currently enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution
• Must be available to live and work in Los Angeles or your assigned office location throughout the duration of your 3-month program during the summer months
• A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
• Passionate about working for a professional sports team
• Proactive and out of the box thinking
