As a CRM Campaign Operations Intern, you will join the team responsible for delivering premium communications to HBO Max subscribers across 70+ countries. You will look ''behind the curtain'' to see how global campaigns-for world-class content like Game of Thrones, The Last of Us, and Harry Potter-move from initial idea to reality. By leveraging state-of-the-art CRM technologies, you will help our fans discover their next favorite story while learning how to drive loyalty and engagement through immersive Email, Push, In-App, and WhatsApp communications. The Daily
In this role, you will move beyond the theory of marketing and dive into the operational excellence required to manage a global streaming service. Your day-to-day will involve:
• Campaign Architecture: Learn to build and deploy sophisticated communications across Email, Push, and In-App, WhatsApp channels using Braze, ensuring millions of subscribers receive the right message at the right time.
• Global Localization: Coordinate the deployment of assets across 70+ countries, mastering how a global brand delivers premium content in a customer's preferred local language.
• Audience Segmentation: Gain hands-on experience in lifecycle marketing by segmenting fans based on their interests-ensuring a Harry Potter fan gets the magical updates they crave.
• Quality Assurance & Hypercare: Take accountability for the final ''look and feel'' of communications through rigorous QA processes, ensuring every link, image, and line of code is pixel-perfect before it hits a subscriber's device.
• Retention Strategy: Gain visibility into how global retention strategies function, understanding the data-driven decisions that keep subscribers engaged with the HBO Max platform.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Utilize industry-standard tools like Monday.com, Slack, GitHub and Figma to navigate the workflow between creative, strategy, and technical teams.
Your Semester Milestone: By the end of this internship, you won't just have ''assisted'' a team; you will have helped deliver global campaigns for world-renowned titles like The Last of Us and House of the Dragon, reaching a fan base of millions.
The Essentials
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail (for the QA/Hypercare aspect)
• Eagerness to learn CRM and campaign communication technology
• Fluency in English
The Nice to Haves
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (Visual Studio Code).
• Experience with Figma or design collaboration tools.
• Previous experience with project management software (Monday.com).
