Framestore is currently looking for a systems intern to join our 2024 Launchpad internship scheme. The Internship offers successful applicants a unique opportunity to gain experience working at one of the largest and most respected visual effects and computer animation studios.

While internship applications for most departments are closed at this time, we are still looking for a summer intern for the IT team in our Vancouver Studio. If you are entering the final year of your degree or have graduated in the past 12 months then you are eligible to join the internship program.

Your learning will be through a combination of hands-on experience and a pre-agreed personal project. You will be given a real taste of what it's like to work at Framestore and in a role focused on supporting systems and IT work for the studio. You will work alongside our existing team on live and interesting projects.

What does the day-to-day of the IT team look like?
• Being the first line of support for all incidents and requests using the Jira service desk
• Workstation configuration support (hardware and software)
• Maintaining a variety of physical and logical systems
• Diagnosing and replace hardware components
• Helping and interacting with artists and production on a daily basis
• Managing assets and loan equipment, including relocation and provisioning
• Producing and updating documentation using Confluence.

This internship is in-person, paid, and will run from June 3rd 2024 until July 26th 2024 and is only available to students who have the right to work in Canada.

Framestore BC Region Pay Range Information

The salary* for this position is $17 CAD/hr, plus benefits and overtime if applicable.
