QUALITY ASSURANCE

What We Do

The Quality Assurance team owns the testing process, risk management, and quality evaluation of all products and functions across Epic. Our team works closely with developers and production to ensure the best possible user experience for our community and customers.

What You'll Do

This organization has teams responsible for everything from C++ unit test frameworks to creating and maintaining C# performance and test automation for Unreal Engine, Fortnite and other games, across multiple platforms. Working directly with the developers and QA professionals, you will gain valuable knowledge working with the codebase behind Epic's industry-leading engine, tools, and games.

In this role, you will
• Work in C++ to extend and improve the test frameworks used by developers inside and outside Epic, and/or in C# to build high value test automation tools and suites
• Work with automation against current generation game platforms

What we're looking for
• Self motivated and passionate about games and programming
• Someone who has completed course work and has a firm understanding of C++
• Strong communication skills and ability to confidently collaborate with senior members on technical topics and features
• Familiarity with a version control system
• Familiarity with an IDE preferably Visual Studio

This internship has a flexible start date in 2024. Recruitment will be ongoing until teams find an ideal match.
