GAMEPLAY PROGRAMMER INTERN
What You'll Do
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work closely with game designers and artists to deliver fun, new musical experiences to our players.
In this role, you will
• Work closely with game designers and artists to create innovative new game features on Fortnite
• Optimize and fix bugs in existing gameplay features
• Playtest and contribute ideas toward all aspects of the game's production and development
• Write robust, maintainable C++ code
• Expand your knowledge of Unreal Engine, gameplay programming, and game development
• Ship new code and features in Fortnite
What we're looking for
• Strong C++ knowledge
• Passionate about game development and Fortnite
• Knowledge of 3D Math & Linear Algebra
• Exceptional communication skills and experience working within a team
• A growth mindset and a focus on learning
• Able to react and respond effectively to coding feedback
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine
• Interest in music and music games
This internship has a flexible start date in 2025. Recruitment will be ongoing until teams find an ideal match.
