MBA Internship – Human Resources 

Your Platform   

We are recruiting for the next class of Activision Blizzard's summer MBA interns. These participants will work in critical roles across Activision Blizzard, Activision Publishing, and Blizzard Entertainment in Southern California. They will contribute to key business functions, while developing networks and experiences designed to accelerate their careers. The Human Resources internship (Activision) is based in Santa Monica, CA.   

2023 MBA summer interns in these roles will have the opportunity to return to their summer internship team for a fulltime opportunity and/or apply to the Rotation Program.

Player Profile    
• Currently enrolled in MBA program and graduating by May/June of 2024.    
• 3+ years full-time work experience.    
• Demonstrated experience in project management and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.     
• Ability to steer others through influence and teamwork signifying advanced interpersonal and relationship management skills.    
• Skillfully use data to research complex information and produce summaries utilizing excellent numerical and statistical skills.    
• Can move nimbly between strategy and execution.    
• Superb presentation skills with the ability to adjust to various audiences ranging from senior leaders, external partners, and cross functional peers.     
• Self-motivated and driven.    
• Prior experience in consulting, business development, organizational effectiveness.   
• Candidates must be available for a 10-week internship starting mid-June

The HR Strategy team is responsible for driving forward transformational change across the business and within the HR function. If you are highly determined and motivated to reinforce the mission and culture of our fast-paced , global HR organization through communication and change, we want to hear from you!   

Possible projects include:   
• Contribute to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Results - furthering our initiatives based on commitments our CEO has made and ensuring that we are both hiring and retaining a more diverse workforce. Includes initiatives around Employee Networks (ERGs), learning & development, talent acquisition processes, and external partnerships   
• Progress our HR Strategy & Transformation - assess people plans from across our franchises and ensure HR initiatives are aligned to support our business strategy and attract, hire, develop, engage and retain the talent that is necessary to delight our players   
• Translate People Analytics to Insights - help solve the company's largest people opportunities by analyzing our wealth of people data and then both making and implementing recommendations to improve employee engagement .    

The videogame industry and therefore our business is fast-paced and will continue to evolve. As such, the duties and responsibilities of this role may be changed as directed by the Company at any time to promote and support our business and relationships with industry partners.
