Summer Intern, Social Media
Job Summary:
AEG Internship Program offers a real-world experience that allows college students to learn the business of sports and live entertainment. In the Corporate Communications Department, interns have a unique opportunity to work alongside a forward-thinking and ambitious social media team. The intern is expected to learn the foundation of communication strategy and the role of social media as one facet of a widespread communications engine.
Responsibilities:
• Assist team in creating graphics, maintaining templates, and upholding brand standards
• Research, brainstorm, curate, and help develop engaging social content that resonates with targeted fans while helping to design + edit fun and engaging social content
• Maintain file management, asset management, tagging of social content, reviewing and downloading social media performance data and creating performance results reports
Qualifications:
• Passion for sports and live entertainment
• Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field
• Highly organized, resourceful, and dependable with excellent interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and apps such as CapCut and Canva; a portfolio of design work is strongly recommended.
• Knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok publishing and analytics.
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure

Pay Scale: $19.00-$21.00
