Internships will be offered at our development studios across the country as well as Activision's corporate headquarters.

We are currently planning on having our internships in-person. With that said, the safety of our employees is a top priority and we are comfortable transitioning our internship to be 100% virtual if needed.

Your Mission 
• Work on challenging projects that utilize your education and critical thinking abilities to have an impact on business initiatives
• Participate in the design and code review process
• Partner with other software engineers in a collaborative environment
• Participate in learning and development tech talks to understand how our employees come together to launch AAA games

Player Profile 
• Must be pursuing a bachelors, masters, or PhD in a computer science related field and graduating December 2021 or later
• Available for a 12-week internship starting in late May or late June
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written skills

Internship Opportunities

Front-End Development Internship: Be part of the Consumer Technology team located in Los Angeles, CA, focused on Front-end Development to build and maintain a variety of consumer facing websites and mobile properties for our games and franchises. Leverage data, game AIP's and creative marketing to build an engaging experience for players out of the console of PC.
• Deep understanding of front end (CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Etc.) languages
• Experience with engineering tools and methods ( GitHub , unit testing, continuous integration, etc.)

Back-end Development Internship: Be part of the Consumer Technology team located in Los Angeles, CA, focused on Back-end Development to build and maintain a variety of consumer facing websites and mobile properties for our games and franchises. Work on websites that are global and responsive, built within the Activision CMS to support long term maintenance and usability
• Strong understanding of Java programmin g and Spring framework
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL
• Understanding of data scaling techniques
• Experience with engineering tools and methods ( GitHub , unit testing, continuous integration, etc.)

UX/UI Internship: Be part of the Consumer Technology team located in Los Angeles, CA focused on UX/UI to create wireframes, mockups and prototypes for new and existing websites and mobile apps for one of our franchises. Conduct research to inform approach including competitive analysis and user feedback
• Knowledge of best practices for websites and mobile apps
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently within a team environment
• Experience using design tools such as Sketch

Call of Duty Servers Internship: join Central Technology's Online Programming team located in Los Angeles, CA, to support Call of Duty servers all around the world.
• Working knowledge of Python, Javascript , Node. js , Django, and Linux
• Web development, client/server architecture, and database development experience
• Experience with C++, user interface, network programming (TCP, UDP, security, NAT, etc ), UX/UI, React/Redux, Vagrant, and Docker is a plus

Anti-Cheat Internship: Join Central Technology 's
Online Programming team located in Los Angeles, CA, to work on a tool that will aid the company in detecting users that are not playing fair.
• Full stack web experience using Python and HTML/CSS/ Javascript
• Knowledge of REST API design principles
• Experience with SQL databases
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
• An interest in information security

Live Services Internship: join Central Technology's Online Programming teams located in Los Angeles, CA, to work on a tool that allows developers to make live game updates.
• Working knowledge of React/Redux, Python, Javascript , Node. js , Django, and Linux
• Web development, client/server architecture, and database development experience
• Experience with C++, user interface, network programming (TCP, UDP, security, NAT, etc ), UX/UI, Vagrant, and Docker is a plus
