Internship Opportunities

All internships will be conducted in-person. Hosting managers will determine when and how often interns work in the office M onday -F riday (relocation services and living stipend provided to all interns) .

Data Engineering I nternship : As a Data Engineer intern working with the Core Ads Data Warehouse team, you will be working in an environment that combines the challenges of handling petabytes of data with the intricacies of Ad Tech business concepts, all within the context of games boasting millions of daily players. Your role will revolve around designing and implementing resilient data infrastructure tailored to the ad tech ecosystem, where the scale and complexity of data are paramount. The team plays a central role in generating key performance indicators and metrics, serving as the backbone for informed decision-making within the gaming and ad tech domains. You will be collaborating closely with seasoned professionals and contribute to
optimizing data storage and retrieval processes, ensuring seamless access to insights that drive real-time decision-making .

Some of the learning opportunities -

Data Modeling & Data Warehousing: Collaborate with the Team to design, implement, and maintain data models containing multiple tables. Work on
optimizing and refining existing data structures for improved efficiency and accuracy.

ETL Development & Large S cale D ata P rocessing: We extensively use Apache Airflow for the orchestration and Astronomer as a platform while hosting our data on GCP cloud. Candidate will be exposed to various concepts of ETL development along with hands-on development on the GCP and other key Data Engineering concepts such as Python Programming, SQL, Data and API Integrations, CI/CD, Parallel Processing, Monitoring and Alerting and so on.

BI/Data Visualization: Gain hands-on experience in creating and maintaining Looker explores and dashboards. Work closely with team members to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights through data visualization.
• Strong programming skills, with a focus on Python and experience with Java considered a plus.
• Familiarity with object-oriented design principles and software development best practices.
• Knowledge
or coursework in relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and exposure to NoSQL databases (e.g., Bigtable, Cassandra) is a plus.
• Understanding of schema design and data modeling principles, demonstrating the ability to structure and
optimize data for analytical purposes.
• Exposure to
or coursework in large-scale distributed data processing concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and a keen interest in leveraging cloud-based technologies for data engineering tasks.

All interns hips will be conducted in-person. Hosting managers will determine when and how often interns work in the office. All interns will have the
option to opt into relocation services (flights, trains, or car mileage reimbursement) . Additionally, all interns will be provided a living stipend to supplement housing, utility, commuting, and miscellaneous costs.

In the US, the standard base pay range for this role is $20.00 - $50.00 Hourly. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all US locations.
