The Audio Engineer is responsible for managing all aspects of the NHX audio department in a professional LIVE sports production setting....The position requires long term experience in the field of (remote and traditional) live production of sports events....The position is based in the Netherlands and involves a 40 hour week from Monday to Sunday as well as being on call 7 days a week....Furthermore, this position requires regular work in the Hilversum production facilities on the occasion of live productions....Your Role Accountabilities… • Lead of the NHX permanent and freelance audio engineering and audiomix team. • Preparation, configuration and maintenance of the entire IP based and legacy audio and communication infrastructure and systems in the NHX sound control (SCR), studio, playout, audiomix and post-production facilities in liaison with Eurosport NL production and central TO teams. • Work for big LIVE sports productions as a Supervisor in Audio Engineering and as well even operationally as an Audio Engineer in the sound control room's. • Assist with further development of existing systems as well as the integration and configuration of new components. • Support of global optimization projects as subject matter expert in the audio technology and operations field. • Fault find and coordination of the maintenance of all audio broadcast and IP equipment in the local production facilities. • Provide ongoing training of the NHX freelan
