Job Description
POSITION TITLE: Athlete Scout (Location is in Coral Gables, FL) (FULL TIME)
DUTIES: Evaluate and review tennis athletes' skills and performance records to determine fitness, skill level and potential for academy training programs and future in professional tennis; plan and implement recruitment marketing strategies; review paper, computerized and video records of athlete performance; conduct in person meetings with athletes to evaluate competencies and performance abilities; prepare reports detailing player assessment, strengths and weaknesses; prepare recommendations for selection of athletes for targeted recruitment efforts.
REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor's degree in sports business or sports management and 2 years of experience in the job or in positions dealing with program recruitment, marketing and analysis of tennis athlete competencies. Position may require worldwide travel to observe and meet with tennis athletes at tournaments or homes
