Job Description

The Digital Media Sales Manager directly oversees the station's digital sales operation and interacts with clients and advertising agencies to maximize website revenue. The Digital Sales Manager is responsible for generating digital revenue through the strategic selling of our digital marketing services offerings and also assists in hiring, training and developing Account Executives.
• Serve as the sales marketing lead driving revenue from digital marketing services for clients across all channels -- mobile, tablet and web
• Develop and execute sales strategies which result in exceeding revenue targets in Digital Media and new product revenue
• Drive new business development
• Manage digital inventory and revenue forecasting
• Assist in recruitment and development of sales professionals
• Manage Accounts Receivable for Digital Media advertising
• Call on accounts with Account Executives
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills:
• BA or BS in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications or Business preferred
• 5+ years of digital media sales and marketing experience preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Effective communication and client presentation skills
• Ability to interact with high-level decision makers
• Familiar with prevailing digital technologies such as Google Analytics, ad tagging, Flash, SEM and behavioral & contextual targeting
• Experience guiding, directing and motivating the sales team, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
• Experience establishing long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them
• Ability to identify the developmental needs of the sales team and to coach, mentor or otherwise help to improve their knowledge or skills
• Resourceful, self-motivated and a skillful multi-tasker
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Work Environment/Mental/Physical Requirements:

Must be able to juggle multiple tasks from multiple sources at one time and will work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced office environment. Some travel may be required on an occasional basis.
