Great Games Start with Great People! This is a significant time in our company's history and one of the most exciting times to join us! We are seeking an imaginative, skillful, and versatile Technical Animator to join our team in Carlsbad, California.

Your Mission:
• Implementation of prototype and production animation content
• Troubleshoot and consistently present solutions to technical issues related to animations
• Work with the animation lead on mechanics and game play prototypes
• Collaborate with the Tech Art Team in the development tools that support the animation pipeline
• Collaborate with Design, Engineering in the development of in-game animation systems
• Educate and support the animation team on production ready rigs/tools/systems.
• Provide desk side support for the animation team - helping to resolve technical issues
• Meets project deadlines / milestones, as set by Project Leads

Player Profile:
• Solid understanding of a scripting language: MEL, Python, or C#
• Experience working with game engine animation systems
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Must have the desire to create great games
• Thorough knowledge of Maya and other animation software

Bonus Points:
• Solid understanding of human and animal kinetics
• Strong knowledge of Maya rigging
• General knowledge of the motion capture process
