Assistant Manager, Digital Account Management, Korea

Scope

Sony Pictures Entertainment's office in Seoul, Korea, is currently looking for a candidate with experience in Digital Account Management to join their team.

Reporting into the marketing team leader in Seoul, this position will manage key digital accounts including KT, LG, SK, Naver and Google, and will work to secure incremental placement on a range of client digital services.

This role includes aspects of marketing and strategic planning, and to be successful you must demonstrate well-balanced skills in communication, strategy, analytics, as well as strong interpersonal skills that foster strong customer relationships and efficient internal coordination.

You will also be very data savvy demonstrating the ability to identify consumer trends and create account specific plans based on customer sales data

Key Responsibilities Include:

Digital Account Management
• Grow digital business in South Korea
• Strive for best in class account service, increase SPE's share of voice with digital clients
- Manage the overall day-to-day relationship and regular meetings with clients to maximize SPE's digital sales within each account
- Negotiate best possible placement/merchandising of key new releases and promotions on customer platforms using all available assets (value added materials, social media content, talent access etc)
- Track and confirm customer execution, title placement, and sales performance
- Through interaction with accounts, study and understand respective account strategies, needs, and opportunities, and incorporate those into internal plans
• Create and implement innovative pre & post sales marketing campaigns for SPT features and series, creating consumer and client marketing
- Create drafting campaigns and other calendar or concept-based library campaigns, to drive incremental revenue from SPT's vast library of features and TV series
- Present campaigns with passion based on understanding of SPE products and marketing capability
- Working with Korea marketing team leader to leverage off store marketing activations to drive consumers to our client's transactional stores
• Oversee performance including checking with digital pricing/promotional strategy for each account
- -Review and submit for each account's promotional calendar, ensuring activities are well-executed
- Monitor and update pricing strategy to optimize revenue
- Regularly monitor performance, update forecasts, and recommend action as appropriate to improve sales, margin, and share of customer business
- Analyze and share sales data to help the team make better commercial decisions
• As appropriate, build and conduct regular product presentations and business reviews with key accounts
Operation and Internal Collaboration
• Maintain regular contact with Hong Kong region office as well as other territory account managers to apply relevant international best practices to the market
• Be the internal point of contact for all customer related queries; coordinate with Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Sales Planning and Operation teams to deliver excellent overall customer service
• Ensure operational efficiency with support teams internally and externally, ensuring scheduling, delivery and pricing are correctly executed
• Oversea censorship process to make sure the process to comply with Korea regulation and company policy
• Develop a full understanding of, and align with, Sony governance and standard working practices, strategies & objectives

Requirements:

Education
• BA required
• University graduate majoring in marketing, media and or communications would be an advantage

Experience
• Typically 3 years in account management experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Have a passion for movies and TV series
• Be analytical, detail-oriented and a logical thinker
• Strong oral and verbal presentation, sales and negotiation skills
• Experience in customer facing situations
• Fluent in English and Korean, ability to translate Korean to English as part of a discussion
• Knowledge of the digital distribution landscape in Korea
• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel
• Possess an ability to work under pressure and multi-task
