KOMO News in Seattle, WA has an amazing opportunity for an organized, plugged-in, multi-platform oriented Special Projects Producer. In your role you will keep meticulous notes and work far in advance to plan and produce content. You will envision, coordinate, track and schedule sweeps pieces, unique content from Sinclair Broadcast Group stations and coordinate live shots, talkbacks and correspondent packages from the Sinclair Washington DC Bureau. You will be a key driver of investigations and KOMO's single-topic initiatives ''Project Seattle'' and ''Operation Crime and Justice''. This position requires long hours, attention to detail, knowledge of content and marketing of news and information on all platforms. This is a position requiring at least 5 years producing or reporting experience in a major market news operation. You must have examples demonstrating your ability to generate unique content applicable to a local news operation.
