Fox Entertainment is looking for an Audio Mixer to join the Production and Post-Production and Technology group on a freelance basis. You will fill a critical role in enhancing promotion content with our producer teams for Fox Entertainment. You will be responsible for audio sweetening and editorial of promotional content and/or episodic content that will air across digital platforms along with cable and network television.

This role is responsible for delivering a high-quality viewer experience to millions of viewers across FOX networks, digital platforms, mobile applications, websites, and licensing partnerships. In short, we bring great FOX content to YOU!

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Communicate project status and overall timeline to production and project leads
• Ability to work and meet sudden deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Follow editorial guidelines as outlined by stakeholders
• Research and develop efficient workflows
• Make recommendations to cross-functional teams on processing improvements
• Perform final audio QA before submission of deliverables
• Make recommendations to Sound Engineer
• Maintain & organize audio asset library, and track and manage audio assets in provided documentation tools
• Own audio editorial process

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Experience editing in Pro Tools (10 or later preferred)
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a similar position, occupation, or role is highly desired
• Proven experience with detailed dialog editing
• Deep understanding of audio requirements for passable voice audio takes
• Experience with writing and maintaining project documentation
• Strong communication skills; willingness to give and receive constructive feedback
• Proven experience planning, scheduling, and communicating within operational teams
• Great attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and well organized
• Experience with cloud-based production and post-production environments, collaborative workflows, and the use of applications and tools in these environments
• Ability to build on existing processes and define new ones as needed
