The role also includes assisting in the day-to-day editing production of the only syndicated lifestyle show seen throughout Texas Sinclair Broadcast Group stations. Brand development experience on social media is essential.

KABB-TV is seeking a part-time Editor/Associate Producer to join our lifestyle team and create content for the popular morning lifestyle show, ''Daytime with Kimberly & Esteban.'' We are looking for a content creator who can take a fresh idea and mold it into an exciting and engaging television segment that fits the ''Daytime'' brand. The role also includes assisting in the day-to-day editing production of the only syndicated lifestyle show seen throughout Texas Sinclair Broadcast Group stations. Brand development experience on social media is essential.

• Have a creative mindset
• Be a compelling and accurate writer
• Detail-oriented; organization is key
• Be able to multitask and manage time in order to put together an exciting and entertaining program
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
• Flexibility and on-the-spot problem solving abilities are a must

Required Experience:
• Must have at least one year of previous experience at a commercial TV station
• Journalism degree preferred
• Proficient with non-linear editing (i.e. Avid) and newsroom systems such as iNews

Schedule:

Weekdays only

29 hours maximum
