Our Team
The Data & Strategic Insights team enables a holistic 360 view of the consumer and content for the entire Discovery organization. The team leverages a central research model with shared data and analytics services that can be accessed by all consumer-facing business functions. Using big data platforms, data warehousing and business intelligence technology, audience data, advanced analytics, data science, visualization, and self-service analytics, this team creates a shared, cohesive language with standardized data, metrics, and reporting to enable a global research community.

The Role
The Product Manager - Digital Analytics supports Discovery, Inc.’s management, understanding and use of digital behavioral and audience data. This individual will be responsible for our global digital analytics and digital audience solutions across all Discovery brands worldwide (Discovery, Food Network, HGTV, Animal Planet, TLC, Eurosport, DPlay, GOLFTV, Golf Digest, etc.). This person will work with Product, Analytics Implementation, Ad Sales and Marketing team(s) to realize actionable behavioral and audience insights across all Discovery’s digital properties and assets.

Responsibilities

1. Write and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs); build complete story for a given ask, what the goal is; why it is needed; what are the success requirements and what is the business impact
2. Coordinate with Operations and Tech teams throughout development to answer questions and ensure requirements are met.
3. Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) for new features or platforms; obtain sign-off from primary stakeholder and confirm with tech, prior to launch.
4. Stay up to date on the current marketing technology landscape; make recommendations on how our stack can be improved via new and/or different vendors.
5. Support Analytics implementation across all Discovery digital properties through QA and documentation support.
6. Coordinate user-enablement support and training, as necessary.

Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of demonstrated skills and experience.
* Possess a minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience, within the Digital/Web Analytics field.
* Expertise in requirements gathering; developing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and identifying use cases
* Excellent written communication and oral presentation skills.
* Familiar with digital media industry topics including audience measurement, marketing, and advertising
* Familiar with Adobe Experience Cloud (full stack) with focus on Analytics and DMP functionality and capabilities.
* Proficiency with project management platforms including JIRA, Confluence, & Slack.
* Be highly self-motivated, focused and capable of working both autonomously and with a team.
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
