Production Coordinator

Job Description

FOX Sports Florida/FOX Sports Sun is seeking a Production Coordinator! This person will assist with coordinating production elements related to the network's professional and other productions, including the creation and distribution of the event paperwork; working with the Director of Operations and truck/crew vendors to ensure that the events are properly staffed and all equipment needs are covered; making travel arrangements for above and below-the-line personnel; assisting the production teams for events and equipment transportation; reporting of music cue sheet information for productions and maintaining the team/network production schedules; review and coding of all South Florida PPI and MTVG invoices. This position will also be responsible for the hiring of freelance crew for South Florida-based studio productions and ENG shoots, including the inputting of crew information for payroll and working with Producers and Directors on studio crew evaluations and identifying new studio technicians to build freelance depth.

Essential Functions include:
• Coordinates all production elements related to the network's professional and other productions, including the creation and distribution of the event paperwork
• Works with the Director of Operations and truck/crew vendors to ensure that the events are properly staffed and all equipment needs are covered
• Assist in hiring of freelance crew for South Florida based studio productions and ENG shoots, including the inputting of crew information for payroll
• Working with Producers and Directors on studio crew evaluations
• Identifying new studio technicians to build freelance depth
• Makes travel arrangements for Above-The-Line personnel and Staff Management
• review and code all South Florida PPI and MTVG invoices
• Reporting of music cue sheets for productions and maintenance of team and network production schedules
• Assists the production teas with field productions and equipment transport

Qualifications and Experience:
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred
• A minimum of 2-3 years previous broadcast production experience is preferred
• Must have outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
• Basic math skills are required
• Good organizational and project coordination skills are needed
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook is required
• Ability to work flexible hours is also necessary
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast paced environment is essential
• Good interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work as a member of a team are necessary
• Knowledge of remote production and technical equipment is a plus
• Occasional lifting of equipment (up to 50 pounds)
• There will also be occasional work in the in the field at stadiums, locker rooms, media presentations, and in a studio production environment
• Occasional presence will be needed on weeknights and weekends
