Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Senior Software Engineer in San Diego, CA to work with team members to identify adequate test coverage. Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent and two (2) years of experience implementing and executing source code for exercising the correct functionality of new software features on the network. Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience implementing advanced AWS-service based solutions and developing state of the art designs; developing large-scale systems that support platform's social experiences, including architecting, designing and developing real-time, cloud-based services and implementing real time, efficient and highly scalable APIs for the entire portfolio; working with Java and REST services, AWS, relational and NoSQL databases including Cassandra and Couch Base, SCRUM/Agile methodologies, Spark, Docker, and Kubernetes; applying knowledge of DevOps practices and containerization to enhance data structures and cloud design; and supporting applications and troubleshooting latency during peak volumes and mission critical periods.
