Job Description

FOX Sports Southwest is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to be responsible for supporting the Networks' marketing, promotional and community relations projects driving viewership and fan engagement. Further, the position is responsible for assisting coordination of marketing and promotional events, digital marketing efforts including scheduling, tracking and fulfillment.

This position supports the networks serving the Southwest region: FOX Sports Southwest, FOX Sports Oklahoma and FOX Sports New Orleans. The networks professional, collegiate and high school teams include the Texas Rangers, Dallas Stars, Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs, Oklahoma City Thunder, New Orleans Pelicans and UIL.

Responsibilities:
• Contribute to ideation, execution and recapping consumer promotions executed through marketing and on-air promotions in support of driving increased awareness and viewership in the region.
• Assist with social media activities including coordinating marketing-led posts, paid ads and promotions across network social platforms.
• Assist with coordination of promotions with social influencers.
• Support the planning, execution and tracking of all off channel promotional and paid media throughout the regional footprint.
• Assist with creating, scheduling and participation of outreach and community relations activities as well as providing recaps to partner organizations.
• Assist with marketing and sales event activations including talent appearance schedules, travel and internal/external communications.
• Will facilitate execute and manage branded presence on location.
• Create marketing and sponsorship presentations.
• Contribute to external and internal promotional marketing communications and maintaining databases for partners.
• Other duties including but not limited to: planning, budgeting and ordering premiums; coordination and execution of sweepstakes; coordination of company events/ ad-sales events; preparing PowerPoint presentation decks.

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related area is required.
• Sports or Agency experience is a plus.
• Brand/fan activation, social media and event planning experience a plus.
• Good oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Dynamic personality; a savvy networker and relationship builder to recruit support within the organization and with team partners.
• Keen sense of the power of social media and digital media and have basic Adobe Premier knowledge.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is essential.
• Proficiency with Photoshop.
• Strong organizational and project management skills are recommended, as is a working knowledge of sports including MLB, NBA and NHL.
• The ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment is essential.
• Must be able to work varying hours (for events, special functions etc.)
• Must be able to occasionally perform duties in other markets within the FOX Sports Southwest, FOX Sports Oklahoma/FOX Sports New Orleans footprint.
