Brand Overview:

Drew Barrymore is bringing a new voice to daytime TV and digital. Drew's new multi-platform show will be fun, informative and inspiring. We're looking for a video editor who is equally comfortable pulling clips in an Avid environment, extending show cuts for digital needs, cutting original packages and picking up a camera to shoot on the fly.

Role Details:

The video editor will pull show clips, create longer cuts of show clips, cut original digital packages and shoot digital video.

Your Day-to-Day:
• Clip, package and publish show content
• Create digital extended cuts of show packages
• Edit original digital shoots at the same caliber as broadcast
• Shoot digital original content
• May include occasional or scheduled shifts that require night and weekend work around big events
• Additional other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Key Projects:
• Help build workflow to pull show clips in Avid
• Identify show content that can be extended for longer digital packages
• Create a look and feel for digital original packages that matches with show content, but also fits digital platforms
• Lead run and gun production/shooting of digital videos

QUALIFICATIONS:

What you bring to the team:

You have -
• 3+ years experience working in an Avid environment
• Experience shooting content with a cinematic eye and social/digital pragmatism
• A positive outlook on life and a desire to spread positivity in service or our audience
• A fanatic of pop culture, news, lifestyle and positivity
• Willingness to work early morning hours, late nights, and on weekends, if necessary
• A love for calculated improvisation and pivoting as opportunities develop
• Prior experience with the Adobe creative suite

• Experience working closely with celebrities and influencers and strong relationships with both talent and other media professionals for collaborations
