The Job
Director, Production DEI
The Director, Production DEI will support diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-harassment efforts across series, features and studio facilities. Reporting to the SVP Enterprise Inclusion, this role partners closely with HR, Legal, Labor and Physical Production.

The Daily
• Partners with HR, Legal, Labor and Physical Production in the project management of diversity, inclusion and production DEI efforts
• Manages, tracks and ensures processes and protocols for production DEI are implemented
• Builds and maintains strong working relationships with executives, department leads and staff, outside vendors and delivers results based on their needs
• Oversees events that support the Enterprise Inclusion goals (i.e. intensives, listening sessions, roundtables, etc.)
• Provide DEI consulting services to productions
• Assists with design and implementation of DEI initiatives for production employees
• Assists in the evaluation of production sets, stages and locations for drivers and barriers to DEI

The Essentials
• Experience working in a production environment, experience as UPM preferred
• Experience working with DEI efforts, ideally in a production environment
• Willingness to continue learning to ensure understanding of current production DEI needs and DEI trends
• Team player with an ability to supervise several projects in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter with ability to prioritize and respond accordingly
• Great communicator who can build strong working relationships with internal and external partners and vendors.
• Ability to be discreet and handle confidential information
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong understanding of motion picture and television production processes including organizational structure, terminology, schedules and hiring processes
