Production Administrator

Job Description

We are seeking a Production Administrator for FOX Sports Florida and FOX Sports Sun! Duties include coordinating production elements related to the network's professional and other productions, including the creation and distribution of the event paperwork; working with the Director of Operations and truck/crew vendors to ensure that the events are properly staffed and all equipment needs are covered; making travel arrangements for above and below-the-line personnel; assisting the production teams with field productions and equipment transportation; reporting of music cue sheets for productions and the maintenance of team and network production schedules; and coordinating the distribution of the network's graphics packages for the production teams.

Essential Functions:
• Coordinates all production elements related to the network's professional and other productions, including the creation and distribution of the event paperwork
• Works with the Director of Operations and truck/crew vendors to ensure that the events are properly staffed, and all equipment needs are covered
• Handles the physical transportation of equipment from office to venues
• Makes travel arrangements for Above-The-Line personnel and Staff Management
• Assists the production teams with field productions and equipment transportation
• Reporting of music cue sheets for productions and maintenance of team and network production schedules

Qualifications and Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalency required. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 1-2 years previous broadcast production experience is preferred
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
• Basic math skills are required
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills are needed
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook is required
• The ability to work flexible hours is also necessary
• The ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment is essential
• Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work as a member of a team are necessary
• Knowledge of remote production and technical equipment is a plus

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
• Occasional lifting of equipment (up to 50 pounds)
• There will also be occasional work in the in the field at stadiums, locker rooms, media presentations, and in a studio production environment
