As a data-rich company, we are continuing to strengthen the analytics functions and are now looking for a leader who will deliver media strategy that cover the full spectrum of paid media channels. While an in-depth knowledge of digital media is required to perform this role, it is equally critical that you combine this expertise with data-led analysis and creative thinking on a regional basis, and that any market-level recommendations within the strategy are tuned to each region's media marketplace and consumer behaviors. As a growing team, there will be opportunities to improve, innovate and/or pioneer new insights over multiple areas or functions related to media.

Responsibilities
• Work cross-functionally to define problem statements, collect data, and apply statistics to complex business problems
• Develop custom data models and algorithms which are free of known biases
• Optimize Marketing Spend Allocation with a mix of Art (Strategy) and science (modeling)
• Identify insights that are used to drive strategic decision-making across the organization
• Use quantitative analysis and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand what drives our business in collaboration with Consumer Insights
• Mentor and delegate tasks to consultant partners while continuing to manage them in an agile manner
• Wrangle constantly evolving, large, and sophisticated data on users and various forms of content using scripting and statistical tools such as SQL
• Routinely communicate with partners and leadership on modeling projects; present in a cohesive, logical, and fluent way from the original business question to data-driven strategy recommendation
• Liaise within the Marketing Analytics Team to identify and evaluate opportunity areas for advanced analytics initiatives
• Collaborate with other data Scientists and analysts in the wider organization to identify best practices and leverage existing analytical assets
Stake-holders: This is a critical and exciting role within the Global Marketing team at SIE which will largely cater to:
• First Party Studios and Software Marketing
• Software Forecasting, Audience Targeting, Defining Marketing KPI, Supporting Inquisitive Analysis to support decision making
• HW Marketing
• Demand Forecasting, HW Bundle Planning, Evaluating Partnership Opportunities, Generating What-If Scenarios to support decision making
Requirements
• Strong analytical knowledge base, embracing a methodical approach firmly focusing on the Players, their behaviors, and associated trends.
• Expertise in SQL, Advanced Excel with VBA, R, MicroStrategy,
• Interpretation of trends as well as the ability to draw insights from the dynamic gaming industry
• Proficient in using tools like Qlik, Tableau, MicroStrategy, and Powerpoint
• Experience in leading projects with analytical vendors or partners
• Intense interest or experience in the video gaming industry
• Over 5 years of experience in analytics (preferably gaming/entertainment) with or without Masters correspondingly
