Associate Producer

Job Description

Responsibilities
Judge Jerry is seeking an Associate Producer to assist with all aspects of the show's production. This is a Run of Show position that will run until November 2020.
• Books litigants to appear on the show on a weekly basis
• Work with litigants who will appear on the show while they are in town
• Work with producers
• Work with legal team in handling all paperwork regarding case, production and accounting
• Assist Show Producer and delegate to Production Assistants as needed
• Involvement in all show-day procedures including but not limited to proofreading briefs, requesting Show Elements from wardrobe, maintaining evidence
• Liaise with Production to make sure all expenditures are accounted for
• Pitch segment ideas to Producers and Senior Staff

Qualifications/Requirements
• Minimum 1-year professional TV experience with a talk show, news or court program or other relevant entertainment experience, preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the internet
• Must be willing to work in Stamford, CT
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends
Desired Characteristics
• Experience with court TV shows and / or Daytime talk
• Minimum 2 years' experience in TV Production (including internships) preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and previous experience booking guests for television
• Strong research skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments under high pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow direction and work independently when necessary
• Superior organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree, preferred
