Assistant, Business and Legal Affairs

Endeavor seeks a highly motivated Employment Counsel to provide practical and commercially sound advice in a fast-paced environment on legal issues in relation to a variety of employment matters in the Americas. This is a full-time position and and will report to two VP, Associate General Counsels.
Experience and Qualifications:
o 4 to 7 years employment law experience, ideally at a law firm.
o Experience counseling and advising employers on legal compliance and employee relations issues.
o Experience litigating employment lawsuits.
o Experience with drafting and reviewing employment-related documents, such as workplace policies, employment agreements and separation agreements.
o Ability to consider business needs, along with legal requirements, to act as an effective partner to the businesses under the Endeavor umbrella.
o Ability to work independently in a very fast-paced environment.
o Ability to collaborate and build effective, trusted relationships across a large organization
o Joint reporting to the VP & Associate General Counsels overseeing the employment, executive compensation, and employee benefits practices for the Americas
o Provide day-to-day counseling to HR professionals and business leaders regarding compliance with employment laws and employee relations issues.
o Prepare and ensure continued compliance with employment policies.
Oversee, advise on, and conduct internal investigations.
o Work with outside counsel to oversee employment litigation.
o Draft and advise on employment-related agreements and correspondence.
o Advise on the employment-related aspects of acquisitions and dispositions of businesses.
