Stagecraft Virtual Production Trainee
London, EN GB
Simon & Schuster UK is one of the UK's biggest non-fiction publishers, publishing a wide mix of literary and commercial non-fiction. Our broad list of bestsellers range from Mary Trump to Bruce Springsteen to Laura Bates, and we are the home of both British and international authors.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and capable individual to help support the non-fiction team.
Reporting to the Publishing Director, Non Fiction, the role would involve close involvement in all editorial activities leading to publication across non-fiction titles, reading and assessing manuscripts, copywriting, and maintaining our database. You will also provide vital support to our backlist, ebook and audio programmes.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, a meticulous eye for detail and an ability to interact at all levels. You don't need years of publishing experience, but you need to be willing to learn from and adapt to a busy team of editors.
