Sony PlayStation is seeking a self-motivated Project Manager responsible for masterminding, outlining and managing projects and initiatives for the Global Business Operations (GBO) hub. This vital team member will manage and coordinate projects that span the GBO organization and potentially other departments throughout SIE; communicating with all levels within the organization.

This individual will ensure projects remain on time and that contributors have a clear understanding of objectives and expectations. Responsibilities:
• Lead schedules, meeting facilitation, key results, team expectations and timing for assigned projects
• Partner with cross-functional leadership and executives to define and implement process improvements across Engineering and Operational teams to drive execution, optimize delivery, handle risk and provide overall visibility
• Working with the extended Program Management group to set the product definition, system level architecture and coordination with the various business and engineering teams- from large phases through to detailed tasks, including understanding and handling dependencies
• Craft program structures and updates to be implemented across the organization

Qualifications:
• At least 7 years of relevant project management experience
• A degree from a four-year college (i.e., BA, BS) or equivalent work experience
• Strong social skills and the ability to work reciprocally in a team environment
• Sophisticated time management and analytical skills; detail oriented, able to prioritize, meet deadlines, demonstrate critical thinking skills and follow-through
• Interact expertly and communicate effectively with executives and all levels of the organization; able to build trust, and develop strong working relationships
• Strong business acumen required; apply situation analysis and business judgment to analyze projects and what needs to be done
• Strong knowledge of sales cycles and ability to understand recent sales trends and forces

Desired qualifications:
• PMP certification
• MBA
• Gaming industry knowledge preferred
