Producer - Let's Talk Live

Job Description

ABC7-DC (ranked in the 7th largest market in the country) is seeking a full-time Producer for our weekday lifestyle program, Let's talk Live. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing topical and entertaiing content along with sales-driven segments for this exciting opportunity.

The ideal candidate will:
• Create and write daily show and segments

• Plan/book and schedule content for show

• Have the ability to drive social engagement through social media profiles

• Have the ability to multitask and manage time in order to put together an exciting and informative program

• Be able to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment

• Have strong leadership and communication skills

• Work alongside of sales/marketing associates to line up guest segments

• Have strong organization skills

• Be a social influencer with strong social media presence; Facebook, Instagram, etc.

• Have great people skills with an emphasis on coaching and motivating our hosts and guests

Experience:
• Minimum of two (2) years news producing experience

• A journalism degree is preferred

• Non-Linear editing and INews experience preferred
