Crewing Coordinator (Part-Time, Temporary)

FOX Sports Ohio is seeking a part-time, temporary Crewing Coordinator! In this role, you will be responsible for payroll data entry, calculating overtime pay hours, collecting and verifying timekeeping information for freelancers, as well as maintenance of TV production studio schedules. The ideal candidate is expected to have basic knowledge of payroll processing and sports. This person will be expected to have an active hand in payroll and the tracking and reporting of freelance personnel. This candidate must be able to react in a timely manner against all Programming assignments and work closely with Production Operations management personnel.

Responsibilities:
• Work with Operations Producer and/or Operations Manager to assist with the scheduling of crews and equipment for remote productions
• Maintain event personnel lists, ensuring the accuracy of work start and end dates and coordinate with the operations department to ensure that personnel are hired properly
• Help to ensure that all hired personnel complete necessary corporate paperwork and guide it through the system
• Assist with reviewing travel expenses and applying travel policies
• Assist with Operations Department projects as necessary
• Under the direction of the Production and Operations Management Staff, assists with work assignment communication, including crew call times
• Work closely with other departments including Marketing, Finance, Sales and others during the completion of these responsibilities

Basic Qualifications:
• Payroll Database Entry- Experience in data collection, entry and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentiality
• Must have strong interpersonal skills, including voice and email communication
• Working knowledge of organization, financial and logistical process relating to show creation
• Administers to proper hiring and payment policies
• Must have a flexible approach, be diplomatic and able to work well within a group and across functions
• Uses time efficiently and completes projects in a timely manner
• Must be comfortable working with a sense of urgency and in high pressure situations
• Must be resourceful and comfortable working autonomously on a variety of projects with a ''no task too small'' mentality
• Excels with attention to detail and organizational skills
• Takes direction and applies it consistently

Preferred Qualifications:
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Thorough knowledge of PC databases, Word, Excel, and related software
• A basic understanding of technical remote positions, their functions, responsibilities, and necessary skills

Required Education:

High School Diploma

Preferred Education:

Bachelor's Degree in finance, broadcasting, or related field
