EA to Managing Director & Publishing Team (Part Time Fixed Term)

DESCRIPTION:

Welcome to Simon & Schuster: one of Australia's fastest growing book publishers and part of the ViacomCBS global family of entertainment brands. We now have a new opportunity for a confident, well organised and reliable person for the role of EA to the Managing Director and Publishing Team based in Sydney.

Purpose of the role:

This is a varied role, focused on both partnering with and providing support to the Managing Director, as well as providing administrative and coordinative support to the Publishing Team.
• this is a part-time (4 day) fixed term contract (6 months)
• Responsibilities include things like this:
• Being ''the right hand'' of the Managing Director including diary management, call screening, taking minutes at Executive meetings, meeting & greeting guests, event & travel coordination, drafting communications
• Providing administrative and coordinative support to the Publishing Team including diary management, coordinating meeting schedules, administrative duties as required
• Communicating with a range of external stakeholders including clients
• Building strong relationships and developing the ability to anticipate the needs & challenges of the team

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-5 years' experience in a busy PA/EA role
• Ability to work on own initiative and with little supervision
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Loves supporting others, helpful yet not a push over
• Level headed with common sense, being able to deal with different personalities
• Trustworthy and supportive with a high degree of integrity and loyalty
• Professional and conscientious
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi- task
• Resilient
• Interested in the Publishing industry, lover of books
