A Technical VFX Artist is the glue for many different disciplines in games. You'll collaborate with the team to create a wide range of effects as well as developing solutions to many production and pipeline issues. You'll exercise your technical and artistic skills to create a variety of visual effects, simulate destruction, write scripts, and implement beautifully crafted particle and destruction animations into hyper realistic, real time, gaming environments as well as cinematic moments.

Player Profile:
• Experience with 3d software such as Houdini, Maya, Max
• Experience with pyro, fluid, cloth, and destruction sims
• Experience with scripting in Python, Javascript, Mel, or Maxscript, etc.
• Solid understanding of production pipelines for video games, VFX, or CG film
• Basic understanding of rigging rigid body animations
• A great eye for realistic visuals, lighting and VFX animation timing
• Creative problem solver required
• Collaborates well, takes direction and feedback well
• High aptitude for learning new things

Bonus Qualifications:
• Shader experience
• Coding experience
• Practical understanding of vector math
• Real-time VFX experience
• Loves games
