We’re now seeking someone to work very closely hand-in-hand with our Chief Technology Officer to assist leading our tech strategy and drive innovation.

About the Role

Do you have experience with developing technology platforms and applications? Are you a full stack developer with the capabilities of building complete web and software applications and that can handle both the front-end development and the back-end development. Are you familiar with EdTech, MusicTech, FinTech, Ai, and the MetaVerse and want to help create software that combines them all into one platform? Are you comfortable working in a fast-pace startup environment? This position is designed for a motivated and experienced person with an enhanced knowledge of technology and the music entertainment industry with a broad skill set.

This is a new music technology company and our product is an app. This position is contracted as a Head of Technology / Technical Lead Principal Engineer as an executive member with equity-only until we obtain investors to fund a full-time role/position. All candidates should have reliable internet, video-call, and telephone services for communication as this is a remote opportunity (virtual/telework). You must be a full stack developer with the ability to very hands on with the product technology development in all areas.

We recently launched our app to the public and we are gathering feedback and reviews to enhance the development for our music tech app and we are now focused on getting people to download our app, establishing partnerships with music companies, and obtaining sales via subscriptions and obtaining customers for our services and in-app purchases.

We are looking for a team member to work on a virtual / remote basis to support the company within this pivotal role in shaping and executing our technological vision. We are now entering a critical growth phase that requires enhanced execution, faster iteration, and bulletproof technical delivery. We’re looking for ahands-on technology leaderto join our team andtake charge of our next stage of development— one who’s not afraid to get in the trenches, bring bold ideas to the table, and help us build a platform that scales. Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of our technology strategy in alignment with our business objectives.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of our platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in our technology stack and development processes.
• Manage and mentor a team of talented engineers and designers.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate technology seamlessly into our product offerings.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Own the full development lifecycle as we move from MVP to scalable platform

• Lead hands-on engineering tasks, code reviews, and architecture decisions

• Translate product requirements into reliable and optimized builds

• Build and refine infrastructure for EdTech, FinTech, and MusicTech integrations

• Collaborate with AI consultants and product teams on AI-driven features

• Spearhead integration of Metaverse, Web3, or immersive features where appropriate

• Help recruit, lead, and grow the dev team as the platform expands

• Proactively solve technical challenges and propose innovative solutions

• Move fast, iterate faster — and elevate our execution standards with urgency

You Should Have:

• Proven experience in full-stack development across various tech stacks

• Hands-on experience with web design, front-end frameworks, and mobile responsiveness

• Strong AI/ML understanding or experience with integrating AI into platforms

• Past experience building or contributing to platforms in MusicTech, EdTech, FinTech, or Metaverse spaces

• Comfort with startup environments and flexible, evolving roadmaps

• Excellent communication skills — able to clearly articulate ideas and decisions

• Availability and willingness to commit time and energy as a core part of a growing startup team

• Strong sense of accountability and ownership

To be successful in this position, you will need and be expected to uphold the following criteria:

• Must be capable of software engineering.
• Experience in technology development.
• Have the ability to create products of various types such as music courses, music services, music app services, EdTech, FinTech, Ai, and MetaVerse.
• Use excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Possess strong coding skills.
• Must be a team player; results oriented.
• Coordination with Tech Team and company executives is critical to success as we will have weekly meetings and we will need you to be available to communicate via email, phone, and video-chat regularly.
• Must be tenacious and success-oriented, a self-starter with high energy.
• Strong telephone and collaboration skills required.
