Job Description
The Strategy and Operations (SO) team sets the strategy and ensures execution of the go-to-market for GCS Display, Video, and Creatives (DVC) team. We provide business insights using analytics, ensure cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and drive initiatives. We focus on aligning company priorities with day-to-day operations, and evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

As a DVC SO Analyst, you will lead cross-functional and data-led projects that drive both product and go-to-market decisions. You will create impact by influencing Google's strategy for its Display and YouTube business, lead cross-functional analytical and/or data science projects to influence product roadmap decisions and/or go-to-market plans, and develop insights that solve ambiguous business challenges.

Resonsibilities:
• Analyze data to identify future growth opportunities for Display and YouTube.
• Understand business challenges, synthesize data, and communicate data-backed findings to non-technical executive audiences.
• Work with cross-functional organizations across the Ads ecosystem to drive alignment and collaboration on project recommendations.
• Design experiments, develop statistical models, and build causal inference tools to measure impact.
• Design, build, implement, and manage business reporting tools at scale.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in program/project management, leading operational initiatives.
• 4 years of business strategy and operations, management consulting, sales operations, or business analytics functions.
• Experience using SQL and datasets.

Preferred qualifications:
• Master's degree.
• Experience in managing projects with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with controlled experiments, causal inference, and/or statistical data analysis.
• Experience with SQL and statistical programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to translate analysis to non-technical audiences.
• Leadership and development skills.
