Strategic Partner Manager, YouTube (English and German)

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

Resonsibilities:
• Manage and optimize existing partnerships to improve business growth and user experience, while maintaining direct relationships with key partners.
• Identify new opportunities (e.g., unlocking of new content, pitch product updates, and push for adoption) with existing partners by finding creative ways to jointly contribute to the partner's overall goals in digital/on YouTubeDevelop commercial video strategies with partners, and work cross-functionally to ensure plan execution (EMEA peer teams, sales, marketing, PR, and EPS).
• Work with management to define and launch strategic business initiatives.
• Develop agreements, interpret legal documents, work with attorneys to complete agreements, and sustain effective relationships with key external counterparts.
• Manage complex projects.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in account/partnership management or business development.
• Ability to communicate in German and English fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in both languages with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience in online entertainment, sports entertainment or new media, with a thorough understanding of the online entertainment space.
• Knowledge of the online video ecosystem as well as YouTube.
• Ability to consult partners on how to increase their digital footprint online via YouTube (and other Google platforms) by helping them leverage all features available.
• Ability to work cross-functionally to engage as a trusted partner.
• Effective communication and organizational skills, with the ability to comfortably interface with all levels of management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret data, understand trends, and generate custom insights.
