Senior and Group Product Manager, Studio

Job Description

YouTube Studio is the home for all Creators. Studio is where creators go to upload, manage, optimize, fix, grow, and learn from their content. Creators range from individuals getting started, to media companies with teams of people working with Studio.

As the Senior and Group Product Manager on YouTube Studio, you will lead the Video Upload and Management and Studio Platform teams.

Video Upload and Management's mission is to empower creators big and small to reach their full potential by providing a delightful, streamlined, and stress-free video management experience on YouTube. As part of this role, you will own video upload and management across all creator surfaces like Studio Mobile, Studio Desktop, and the Main App. You will drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution for one of the surfaces of YouTube.

You will also own the overall Studio Platform area. Studio is a complex product with the end goal of enabling creators to be more successful. The Studio Platform team acts as a bridge between creators and partner teams and its mission is to make it fast and easy to build great creator experiences.

Resonsibilities:
• Identify, define, launch, and assess performance of your products. Iterate to ensure your products meet the needs of our users.
• Lead a coalition of cross-functional teams across engineering, business, communications, legal, strategy, operations, and finance to execute, launch, and land.
• Make decisions about implementation and resource compromises.
• Be a great communicator and storyteller, and build a strong product narrative which clearly articulates the motivation for your project, goals, and path to success.
• Communicate user needs into product requirements.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in product management, leading product delivery from inception to maintenance
• Experience leading and managing product teams

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience working closely with business stakeholders and engineering, UX/Design, legal, and policy teams
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills
