Job Description
Fast-paced, dynamic, and proactive, YouTube's Trust & Safety team is dedicated to making YouTube a safe place for users, viewers, and content creators around the world to belong, create, and express themselves. Whether understanding and solving their online content concerns, navigating within global legal frameworks, or writing and enforcing worldwide policy, the Trust & Safety team is on the frontlines of enhancing the YouTube experience, building internet safety, and protecting free speech in our ever-evolving digital world.

YouTube's Trusted Flagger program is a program designed to recognize and reward the global community of volunteer contributors. The volunteers help create the best possible YouTube experience for everyone by various contribution types, including flagging inappropriate videos. These volunteers have a high level of flagging accuracy and ensure sensitive content is swiftly flagged for internal teams to review. Additionally, the Trusted Flaggers also alert YouTube when content that likely violates our TOU or Community Guidelines remains live (e.g., signaling a need for reviewers to revisit the decision and ensure the appropriate action is taken upon the content).

In this role, you will lead, design and coordinate the strategy behind growing our Trusted Flagger program. You will be responsible for developing strategies to engage with our most active Trusted Flaggers while responsibly growing the program into new regions and policy areas. You will also monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of the program and its participants. This role may be exposed to graphic, disturbing, and sometimes offensive video content during team escalations in line with YouTube's Community Guidelines.

At YouTube, we believe that everyone deserves to have a voice, and that the world is a better place when we listen, share, and build community through our stories. We work together to give everyone the power to share their story, explore what they love, and connect with one another in the process. Working at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and boundless creativity, we move at the speed of culture with a shared goal to show people the world. We explore new ideas, solve real problems, and have fun - and we do it all together.

Resonsibilities:
• Develop strategies and demonstrate thought leadership around all major aspects of the Trusted Flagger program. Drive the program's overall narrative, set, own, and deliver on success metrics.
• Design, document, and execute on the on-boarding and operational process that drives the Trusted Flagger program.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to drive improvement to the Trusted Flagger program.
• Utilize analysis from Trusted Flagger flagging information to help create robust policy enforcement strategies within Trust and Safety.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in Program/Project Management.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience managing communications to a broad, global array of internal and external stakeholders.

• Excellent strategic and analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and business acumen with excellent judgment in navigating and resolving sensitive internal and external situations.
• Exceptional focus on collecting user feedback and translating into actionable insights.
