Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google's functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.
Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands.
YouTube's ecosystem is growing and evolving, and it is important to deploy resources to serve YouTube's users, creators, and advertisers globally. It's important to use data to run our business and drive the decisions we make. In this role, you will partner with the Product Strategy and Operations team (ProdOps) partners with Product and Engineering leaders to help them manage each part of the business.
You will work in an organization that removes violative content like violence and misinformation. You will work with leaders across the Trust and Safety organization reporting on performance metrics and helping shape strategy and direction.

Resonsibilities:
• Define the performance metrics we manage and understand them. Work with Product/Engineering teams to set up initiatives and experiments to move those metrics.
• Determine priorities (e.g., objective and key results) and help execute on key initiatives (e.g., product launches).
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Business leadership to define and communicate the narrative in a way that can be shared with audiences.
• Manage and implement operational efforts for cross-functional projects, programs, and strategies that have an impact on the business.
• Partner to prioritize and execute quantitative analyses and advanced modeling that deliver actionable insights. Use SQL to help understand metric trends with Data Science and support analysis.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in management consulting, corporate development, product management, engineering, and/or operations.
• Experience in SQL or coding.
Preferred qualifications:
• Master's or graduate degree or equivalent in a management, technical, or engineering field.
• 6 years of experience in an analytically-intensive role, such as management consulting, investment banking, business intelligence, data science, or corporate strategy.
• Experience in consumer internet, media, or online video industries.
• Experience building software products, either as a Product Manager or Engineer.
• Experience in the data analysis workflow (e.g., data mining, statistical analysis, etc.).
